Description

This ADI audio driver update will install the latest drivers & application (version 6.10.1.7260) for motherboards with ADI High definition (HD) audio adapters. The ADI driver is necessary in order to enable all the features of the audio controller, including HD sound (onboard means built in to the motherboard, as against a separate sound card). This release is for Windows 7 & fixes an issue with Line-In erroneously being set as the default recording tool in Control Panel. Note: in the event you are using a separate sound card with an ADI chip, you do not need this ADI audio driver. For separate sound cards, you ought to download the appropriate driver from the card manufacturer’s site.
