- The update fixes an issue where preference settings such as scratch disks or palette positions are sometimes not preserved between sessions.
- The update addresses several performance issues and speeds up launch time, copy and paste functions, opening and saving files as well as scrolling, panning, and zooming. Files with large amounts of text also open and close faster.

- OpenType and Type 1 fonts now display the Euro symbol when saving a file in .ai or .pdf format.
