ASUS Q200E 11.6-Inch Notebook

The Q200E is the kind of item that we would like to see being used as an example by creators of ultrabooks and tablets operating Ms windows 8.
Sure, the ASUS laptop is neither of those stuff, but at least it has a affordable price: $549.99 / 422.54 – 549.99 EUR. No experts will grumble about that price whenever soon.
That said, the computer, which is only 11.6 inches wide in diagonal, has a 1.4 GHz i3 CPU, 4 GB of RAM, a 500 GB hard drive, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 (one port), USB 2.0 (two ports) and even HDMI.
In other terms, it has all the fundamentals covered, and there is even a touch panel over the LCD, so Ms windows 8 unique interface will be used to its maximum.
All the components are loaded in an aluminium case of 0.9-inch thickness / 22.86 mm.
Online suppliers are only accepting pre-orders though. Deliveries won’t start before Oct 26, when Microsoft will release Windows 8.
