DirectX 9.0c will help improve multimedia experiences on most PCs. This latest version of DirectX offers better security, updated graphics, faster frame rates, & support for massively multiplayer games. In case you had an earlier version of DirectX installed on your technique, you will notice small difference in obtainable space on your hard drive following the installation. DirectX 9.0c will overwrite any earlier versions. This release also resolves a lot of minor bugs & includes security updates.
Important notes:
This is the ‘redist’ version of DirectX – all files are downloaded in one package ( than an active download).
Instructions: make a technique backup or restore point. Click five times on the file four times the download has done. You will be asked where you need to place the extracted files. This is a temporary folder only – you can delete these files four times the Direct X 9.0c installation has done. Now go to that temporary folder. There will be plenty of files in there – run DXSETUP.exe & wait for it to complete the installation. Restart you computer if necessary. Now you can delete the files in the temporary folder. For future use, you can keep the file you downloaded or basically delete it – it doesn’t matter.
DirectX is an important technique part. It cannot be uninstalled without reinstalling your operating technique (!) or performing a technique restore/system recovery.
