The HP ScanJet 2200c scanner driver package can be installed on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000 and XP. It installs version 2.0 of the HP PrecisionScan LTX scanning application and driver onto your PC.

HP advises that, on some systems, the scanner hardware may get in to a mistake state that will keep the scanning application from finding the 3200c ScanJet. If your scanner still is not found after installing this driver and application update, follow the directions below:
Unplug the power cable from the 3200c ScanJet.
Unplug the parallel cable(s) from the 3200c ScanJet.
Shutdown the PC and wait for ten seconds.
Plug in the power cable to the 3200c ScanJet.
Plug in the parallel cable(s) to the 3200c ScanJet.
Power your PC on.
