This download has the drivers for older Microsoft Intellipoint/Intellimouse pointing devices (or ‘mouse’). The main features of this update are to assign buttons, increase scrolling support for more applications. The download contains drivers for a range of older Microsoft hardware, including ‘IntelliEye’. The main reason for choosing this older driver over the newer version is for systems using Windows 95, 98 or Me (the newer drivers don’t suppport these versions of Windows) or in the event you have a Microsoft mouse that is elderly.
