Download this patch for the Microsoft UAA Bus driver for High Definition Audio (High Definition Audio is often abbreviated to HD Audio). The update installs the Microsoft driver and permits the UAA Bus driver feature on your motherboard. Without this driver, the HD audio won’t function – an issue that will chiefly affect newer PCs or new installations of Windows XP, 2000 or Server 2000. The original Windows installation CDs do not include the Microsoft UAA Bus driver for High Definition Audio – that is why you need this package.
