Description
MS Office 2000 Service Pack 2 (incorrectly known as Service Release 2) addresses a large number of bugs in the Office 2000 suite. Microsoft never makes things simple to follow & this is another nice example. The first update for Office was called Service Release 1, & then Service Release 1a after a serious bug was present in it. So what do they call the next update? Service Pack 2. There is no Service Pack 1 – it was called Service Release 1. You will need to have Office updated to SR1 or SR1a before applying this patch.
