About
This patch (KB958655) fixes a mistake that occurs with Microsoft Windows Installer and the error message is ‘API call rejected – No actions in Context’. According to Microsoft: ‘This issue is most likely to be encountered in the work of the installation of SQL Server 2008 or in the work of an upgrade from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008.’ But it also occurs when you install multiple copies of msi based programs. The update corrects the issue. It is not a critical issue, so in case you haven’t encountered the issue, there is no important reason to put in it at this stage.
