Windows Live Messenger is an instant messaging program that lets you send instant messages, pics & other files to other users. You can also call a phone anywhere in the world from your computer, see when someone is typing a message to you, page a contact’s mobile phone & more. This release adds new features, bug fixes, fixed some important security holes & added other various new features. After version 8 release of Messenger, Microsoft has tinkered with the name – the program is now known as Windows Live Messenger – formerly it was MSN Messenger. From version 14, Messenger is also compatible with Windows 7.

This is the whole standalone version of Messenger Live. All files are downloaded in one single package which also includes options to put in other Live programs such as Film Maker, Live Mail, Writer & Picture Gallery.
